Sell items mostly unidentified as you would need some Transmutes to craft lightning damage to attacks in act3
You can buy Faster Attacks and Amber amulet later on as you get more transmutes, Leap Slam is the only mandatory gem at the moment
Return to Caverns. Find and enter the Ancient Pyramid
Ascend the levels of the pyramid until you find the
Pyramid Apex
Kill the
Vaal Oversoul and exit into the City of Sarn
Find the
Blackguards and kill them to rescue Clarissa. Talk to her
Enter the
Sarn Encampment
Take the Waypoint to the
Riverways. Find the exit into the Wetlands
Find
Oak, kill him. Grab the amulet
Find the tree roots next to Waypoint, click on it, enter the Vaal Ruins
Break the seal when you encounter it. Exit into the

from now on - check the vendors who sell flasks for tinctures

Every Vaal Orb you drop should be used on Smite gems you are leveling in off-hand until it hits
You should have or look for Prismatic Tincture and roll attck speed/ele pen on it
On taking Thrill of Battle and mana reserv mastery (12%) - add Arctic Armour
Check rare Axes or use flat damage essence to craft it, add another type of ele damage using crafting bench (Essence of Wrath/Anger/Hatred)
If you are missing ele res or accuracy - do not remove Weathered Hunter
If you are struggling with sockets right after Kitava - momentum/lifetap/frostblink can be added later on
